Reading history is not like reading mathematics or science. It can be very subjective to the extent of even untruth. So there is the Black Hebrew take on Abraham and his family and then there is the Arab take. In Ancient Egypt, the two distinguishing tribes were the muhajirun and the mawali. It was the muhajirun considered Hagarenes or sons of Hagar that became known as Ishmaelites which were the Arabs. Their exodus from Arabia to venture into Africa was interpreted as a sort of Hijra associated with the plight of Muhamnad when he made the famous exodus from Mecca to Medina in 622 AD. It is from the Hagarenes that African Americans have root. Ishmael is not to be discounted. He was Abrahams oldest son no matter how you look at it and was muslim. Bringing Black Americans out of America along the blessed path of Ishmael is very much relevant.

Hello to All and especially Saint Jake,
I have a question. Let us assume that this knucklehead St. Jake’s knowledge of Black Americans is correct. What does this knowledge offer us?
So what that we would have this knowledge in our head and still have no desire to be a sovereign people on the portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders, what good is it?
All that knucklehead is doing is running off a bunch of ancient names, prehistoric history and authors of books that he recommends that we read.
I do not want St. Jake’s nonsense since it does not encourage us to become a sovereign people. Black Americans do not need more knowledge or authors. Black Americans need God and a prophet to correct our present dilemma, am I right. Black Americans need the same as what God did for the children of Israel in the days of Moses.
Who dare to say that I am wrong?
FYI, regardless of the secret tapes of the FBI, the Nation of Islam under the leadership of Elijah Muhammad assassinated Malcolm. Am I right about that?

i AM SO GLAD i GOT TO KNOW THIS GREAT MAN BY way of THE WRITTINGS OF aLEX hALEY...
One of my most treasured, treasures in my "AFRICAN ROOM" is the signature of Alex Haley's on his ROOTS AND HIS MALCOM x. One day I may post Mr. Haley in our lecture room with our instructer and author professor Patrica Turner. He was a personal friend of professor Turner's and came to speak to us at her invitation. She had gotten to know him as she did many famous Blcak peoples when she was producing sperical about our people on the PBS channel.(smile)
Dr. Turner, told us a story about Diane carrol who did not charge for a cameo on one of her programs on PBS, but they did have to pay $2000 for her make up artist just before she appeared before the cameras. I don't believe taht the professor ever was able to forgive or forget this actions on their meger budget. lol as they had taken her at her word that she would not charge them any money to be on the program!!! (smile)
