VIDEO: ETHOPIAN WOMAN OFFERS APOLOGY OVER "ALL BLACK WOMEN ARE DESPERATE" VIDEO RANT (1539 hits)
AN ETHIOPIAN woman who branded black women 'the most desperate women on the planet' has had to issue an apology after receiving a number of threats following her offensive Youtube video
The unnamed woman said that she felt it necessary to issue a response 'because I've been getting so many negative messages about my last video' and was upset when her black friend branded her a 'racist' after watching the 10-minute clip.
The married woman, seemingly in her early twenties, initially released video via YouTube in response to an earlier video she had seen about black women dating outside of their race – namely with Asian men.
In the long rant she said: “A majority of Black American women have absolutely no chance of dating outside of their race. Black American women have no idea how the world actually perceives them and they definitely have no idea of how Asian American’s perceive them.”
“Most people who are not black have a bad perception of black Americans.” She said.
She continued: “Most black American women are extremely desperate. They are the most desperate women, in my opinion, on the planet. It only takes one Asian man to go on Youtube and say something ridiculous as they love black women or black women are beautiful for black women to go crazy.”
The woman, who is married to an Asian man, said it was only possible for her to date outside her race because, ‘”I have my own culture! I know what country I come from and I know my own language.” She claimed that a majority of black women didn’t have this.
“Most black women don’t have any of this so they cling onto the thing that has nothing to do with them. You even have black women going to places like Japan of Korea to teach English, but really they’re really there to find a man. But what these black women don’t understand is that if you can’t find an Asian American, you most definitely will never find an Asian.” She said.
“They’re not eligible women most of them don’t know how to speak proper English, they’re extremely rude, very loud – they’re just not eligible, that’s why they’re the least likely to date outside of their race. Nobody wants these women and I can completely understand that.”
Her video was posted on a number of gossip sites and received thousands of angry responses.
In one of the ‘kinder’ messages, one user on Bossip: “If anything she represents exactly what she is denouncing a stereotyped black women-dating outside her race, why? Be a part of fixing the problem, at the end of the day, why did her family come here to the USA? They weren’t bought here as slaves, so why is she here?”
Within a few hours she released a video apologising for the offence her video may have caused.
She said: “I actually had planned to delete my YouTube account because I’ve been getting so many negative messages about my last video. I just invited a friend over to watch the video and she’s black American and by the way, I also consider myself black as well.
“She watched the video and had a very negative reaction. She said that I was generalising and that I was stereotyping. I was not expecting that reaction and she even went so far as to call me a racist!
“I’m still a little surprised about her reaction, but that does not mean that I don’t think that black America is in a good shape however I could be generalising.”
“I just want to put out there that if I offended anyone, that was not my intent. That was definitely not my intent. That’s all I wanted to say”
Although a majority of online commentators were not in a forgiving mood, there were the odd few who we’re more willing to let bygones be bygones.
User, Phillysouledout said: “Apology accepted, but given the look on her face and the subsequent reaction to her friend being upset…gf definitely has some soul searching to do. I wish her luck and many epiphanies.”
